How it all started...
Huntington is a college town in the Tri-State area with a population of 50,000. In April 2015, New Heights Church Milton sacrificially sent thirty individuals called to the city of Huntington. Those individuals began meeting in a small, local medical center, slowly transitioned into worship at Huntington High School, and in 2023 the Lord moved us once again to Boyd County, KY. We have been blessed to see River Valley Church impact many people with the gospel and love of Jesus. God’s faithfulness and goodness continues to nurture our hearts as we desire to see changed lives and a changed city.
Expanding the vision...
It’s simple- River Valley Church exists to tell as many people as possible about Jesus. Change Lives. Change A City. Our vision is made possible by the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross. The same power that resurrected our living Savior is the same power that will change our city to life. Our mindset works as a measuring stick as we strive for this goal.
