Ephesians 5: 1-5
This week, Pastor Ryan walked us through Ephesians 5:1–5.
“Be imitators of God.”
Not admirers.
Not part-time followers.
Imitators.
Paul calls us to walk in love the same way Christ loved us — sacrificially, intentionally, and wholeheartedly. This isn’t surface-level Christianity. This is a transformed heart that shows up in our words, our relationships, our purity, and even our private thoughts.
We were reminded today:
We are beloved children — identity comes first.
We are called to walk in love, not just talk about it.
We are set apart — our lives should look different from the world.
Grace saves us… and grace also shapes us.
There was a holy clarity in the room today. A reminder that following Jesus isn’t casual — it’s costly, but it’s worth it. When we remember who we belong to, it changes how we live.
Let’s be a church that reflects Him boldly in our homes, workplaces, schools, and community this week.
