Ephesians 4: 25-32

Feb 15, 2026    Ryan Navy

This week, we picked back up our expository study in the book of Ephesians. Pastor Ryan preached from Ephesians 4:25–32 — and it was a Word we ALL needed.

Paul doesn’t give suggestions in this passage… he gives transformation instructions. When you’ve been made new in Christ, your life should look different. Your words should sound different. Your reactions should feel different.

We were challenged to:

• Put away falsehood and speak truth.

• Be angry — but do not sin.

• Refuse to give the devil a foothold.

• Work honestly and give generously.

• Let no corrupting talk come out of our mouths — only words that build up.

• Be kind, tenderhearted, forgiving — just as God in Christ forgave us.

This wasn’t just behavior modification. It was heart renovation.

The reminder that hit hard:

Our words either build the body… or break it.

Our anger either honors God… or opens doors we never meant to open.

Our forgiveness reflects the gospel we claim to believe.
