1 John 3: 10-24

This Sunday, Pastor Ryan continued our journey through 1 John, preaching from 1 John 3:10–24 — a powerful reminder that genuine faith in Christ is demonstrated by genuine love for one another.

John gives us a clear picture of what should distinguish the children of God: “We should love one another.” Not simply with our words, but with the way we live, serve, sacrifice, forgive, and care for those around us.

Jesus is our greatest example: “By this we know love, that He laid down His life for us.” (1 John 3:16)

Biblical love isn’t just a feeling. It’s active. It sees a need and responds. It chooses obedience even when it’s difficult. It puts others before ourselves. As John writes, “Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”

May we be a church known not simply by what we say we believe, but by the way the love of Christ is visibly lived out through us.

Love one another. Love in deed and truth. Abide in Christ.
